Wrecsam Tri Club’s races are run by athletes for athletes. To produce a quality event we rely very heavily on a large army of volunteers who we do our best to try to reward for their service. We are always looking for volunteers and if you have any family members or friends willing to help please contact us as soon as possible.
This is one of the many costs of organising a race. Others include hire of leisure / changing facilities, first aid, Raynet, water safety, massage, policing, insurance, printing, copying, advertising, website maintenance, database support, postage, telephone calls, drinks, cups, bottles, energy bars, gels, race numbers, scaffolding, security barriers, speaker system, commentators, goody bags, prizes etc.
After these dates the money is spent so we have to take the stance of most other race organisers and say “Sorry, no refund”.
We believe we are one of the few organisations who attempt to do this – at the end of the day your application is a binding agreement to compete and pay irrespective of circumstance.
Email withdrawal is received by the race organiser on or before the following dates:
BALA MIDDLE Saturday 25th May 2013 – refund £73.00
BALA STANDARD Saturday 24th August 2013 – refund £52.00
Telephone messages will not be accepted, but can be used to confirm we have receipt of email withdrawal.
